ShroomTek designed the bag so inoculation, colonization and fruiting all happen in the same sealed environment, which cuts down on the handling steps where contamination usually gets in. It is a practical starting point for culinary varieties such as oyster or lion's mane, sourced through a compatible culture from a supplier of gourmet strains.

Format and contents.

Centerpiece: ShroomTek All-In-One Mushroom Grow Bag

Substrate: sterilized organic grain plus a hydrated, manure based compost with coco coir and substrate supplements, per ShroomTek

Injection port: self healing, for a compatible liquid culture

Gas exchange: 5 micron filter patch that lets the bag breathe while helping block airborne contaminants

Bundle contents: the grow bag is the core item shown on this listing; ask our team to confirm every item in the current bundle before you buy

How to use it. Work in a clean space, wipe the injection port with alcohol before and after inoculating, and keep the bag at a steady room temperature out of direct sun while the mycelium spreads. Do not open the bag during colonization. Once the grain and substrate are fully white, the bag moves to fruiting conditions with more light and fresh air, following the instructions printed by ShroomTek. Patience matters more than gadgets here: rushing the colonization stage is the most common reason a bag fails.

What to know. This bundle is sold for growing gourmet and functional mushrooms only.
