common questions

WHAT IS CBD

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the cannabis plant. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world.

IS CBD ADDICTIVE

No, it’s not addicting at all. CBD is a non-addictive, non-intoxicating phytocannabinoid and completely safe for a variety of whole-body uses.

WHAT IS CBD USED FOR

CBD has been studied for its potential role in easing symptoms of many common health issues, including anxiety, depression, acne and heart disease. However, due to federal regulations, we cannot make claims about whether or not natural CBD hemp oil can help with specific ailments.

WILL CBD MAKE ME HIGH

No. Unlike THC, CBD is non-intoxicating, which means it will not get you high.

IS CBD LEGAL

Yes – not to worry – CBD is completely safe and legal. The 2014 federal Farm Bill granted state governments the legal right to grow industrial hemp through state-regulated agriculture and pilot programs. It also classified hemp and hemp-derived products with less than 0.3 percent THC separate from marijuana cannabis. With the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, the growth, production, and manufacturing of hemp became federally legalized.Answer

HOW LONG UNTIL I FEEL THE EFFECTS

This truly varies person-to-person due to our unique genetics. No two people react to CBD oil in the same way due to genetics and other factors such as age, health, weight, circulation, and metabolism. In general, edibles and capsules can range anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour while tinctures can take up to 20 minutes.

WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR IN A CBD PRODUCT

As both manufacturers and wholesalers of CBD products, we pride ourselves on curating a boutique full of CBD retailers and products we know and trust. The majority of our products are full-spectrum, contain less than 0.3 percent THC, and are made with U.S.-grown hemp. Keep in mind that everyone responds to CBD differently so as you try out products, it’s important to note any positive or negative reactions.

delta-8 faq

IS DELTA-8 LEGAL?

The 2018 Hemp Farm Bill allows for the manufacturing and sale of any product derived from Hemp containing less than 0.3% Delta-9-THC, the psychoactive ingredient in Marijuana. The Controlled Substance Act specifically makes amendments that protect the manufacturing of any tetrahydrocannabinol derived from hemp by removing them from the list of Schedule I narcotics, including Delta-8-THC.

IS DELTA-8 NEW? WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD ABOUT IT BEFORE?

Delta-8 is nothing new despite the designer name. It’s a completely natural chemical that’s been around as long as cannabis has. In fact, if you’ve ever consumed Marijuana you’ve likely also consumed Delta-8. However, it hasn’t been until recently that proper studies have been able to take place in order to identify and isolate Delta-8 from other chemicals in the cannabis plant. That’s partly because of changing legal regulations around cannabis in the USA, and partly due to advances in scientific studies as we learn more about the plant from which this chemical is naturally derived.

WHAT ABOUT THE DEA'S ITERIM RULE?

In the words of the DEA themselves, their Interim Rule is not intended to conflict with Congress’s 2018 Farm Bill, so that is the context of their rule that we operate under. Many Delta 8 brands are unsure if the definition of “synthetic THC” applies to their Delta 8, because frankly many suppliers in industry have a bad habit of not ensuring compliance or understanding their manufacturer’s distillation process. Interpreting the DEA’s rule in the context that they released their rule under, as well as the plain English interpretation of the term “synthetic,” we can proudly say that our product does not violate any aspect of their rule. Our product is derived from pure organic CBD (which itself is compliantly derived from Hemp) and our new manufacturer is one of the only manufacturers in the USA whose distillation process is compliant. At no point in the manufacturing process do we exceed legal limits of Delta-9-THC levels (even in our waste), and at no point to we apply synthetic chemicals to our product.

IS DELTA-8 SAFE?

Extensive studies have not yet been conducted in order to conclude the safety of inhaling vape products. Our formula is made from 100% Organic USA grown Lab Certified Hemp that is proven to be free of any heavy metals, pesticides and other harmful products.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DELTA-8 AND DELTA-9

The main difference in Delta 8-THC and Delta 9-THC is federal and state legality. Delta 8-THC is fully federally legal and legal 38 states, while Delta 9-THC is federally illegal and illegal in most states. Both Delta 8-THC and Delta 9-THC produce euphoric psychoactive effects on users and carry a wide variety of medical and recreational benefits.

IS IT LEGAL TO SHIP DELTA-8 IN THE MAIL?

Absolutely, Delta 8-THC can be sent through the United States Postal Service (USPS) legally. Thanks to a clarification published in the USPS regulations, Hemp products (just like Delta 8-THC) can safely and legally be shipped within the United States.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO PURCHASE DELTA-8?

While there are no federal regulations setting the minimum age required to purchase Delta 8-THC, there are several state regulations mandating that consumers must be 21 years or older to purchase. For this reason, you must be 21 years or older to purchase any products both online and in store.

WILL I FAIL A DRUG TEST?

Yes. Your typical urine screen will test for Delta-8 THC in the same way it tests for Delta-9 THC. We don’t recommend trying Delta-8 products if you’re worried about passing a drug screen.

WHAT ARE TERPENES?

Terpenes are the fragrant oils found in plants that determine the characteristics and effects of cultivars. Through the entourage effect, cannabis compounds other than tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) act synergistically with DELTA-8 to modulate the overall psychoactive effects of the distillate.

Our botanically-derived terpenes are 100% Natural and are the best way to achieve the individual personalities of popular strains we’ve all come to know and love.
