Alice Nightcap Reishi Mushroom Chocolate is a tin of 16 servings of organic dark chocolate made with reishi mushroom, chamomile, L-theanine, magnesium, and zinc. Alice designs it as an evening chocolate for winding down after dinner. Alice Mushrooms makes vegan functional chocolate with organic, 100% fruiting-body mushrooms.

Format and contents.

• Servings: 16 per tin
• Key ingredients: organic reishi (100% fruiting body), chamomile, L-theanine, magnesium, zinc
• Base: fairly traded organic dark chocolate
• Suggested serving: 1 square about an hour before bed, per Alice
• Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, kosher, per Alice

What each ingredient brings. Reishi is a functional mushroom with long traditional use, chamomile is a familiar evening tea herb, L-theanine is the amino acid in green tea, and magnesium and zinc are essential minerals. Alice notes that reishi is felt over time with daily use rather than instantly. Research is still developing, and Nightcap is not a sleep treatment.

How to enjoy it. Have one square about an hour before bed, ideally as part of a regular wind-down routine. Alice says one square suits most people. Do not combine with alcohol or sleep medications, and talk to a licensed practitioner first if you take prescription medication.

Lab testing. Alice states its products are lab tested for quality. Review what we have on file on our lab reports page.

Storage. Keep it sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight so the chocolate does not bloom or melt. Choose expedited shipping in warm months.

Reviews. There are no verified reviews on this page yet, and we will not invent any. We make no medical claims about this product.

Who it's for. Adults who want a simple, chocolate-based evening ritual without THC or melatonin. Skip it if you are pregnant or nursing, or allergic to chamomile or related plants.
