Slow Down Coconut Wax Votive Candle Set No. 3 (4 x 3oz)

By Slow Down

The Slow Down Coconut Wax Votive Candle Set No. 3 is a four candle discovery set, each votive holding 3oz of coconut wax and fine fragrance, built around warm, smoky scents like tobacco flower, wood smoke and incense.

If you like the idea of a smoky, resinous home scent but are not sure which one to commit to, a discovery set is the easy answer. Burn each votive and find your favorite, or split the set across rooms. The four scents lean warm and grown up, which makes the box a thoughtful gift for someone who already has every candle in the usual vanilla and linen range.

Format and contents.

  • Brand: Slow Down
  • Count and size: 4 votives, 3oz each
  • Wax: coconut wax with fine fragrance
  • Burn time: roughly 14 hours per candle
  • Tabac Spice: tobacco flower, anise, clove
  • Vanille Ash: vanilla orchid, wood smoke, rare spices
  • Resin: beeswax, cardamom, incense
  • Teak Ash: saffron, tobacco flower, smoke

How to use it. Let the first burn melt the wax across the full surface so it does not tunnel, trim the wick before each relight, and burn on a level, heat resistant surface away from drafts. Never leave a candle unattended.

Pair it with. Gift the set with the Questionables Pot Leaf Candle for a lighter touch, or add the Pot~Pourri Smoke Odor Eliminating Candle 7.5oz for the room that needs more than fragrance. A Lucky Heart Dice Ashtray makes a fun matchstick tray beside the votives.

Who it is for. Anyone who likes tobacco, amber and incense notes, or anyone shopping for a host or housewarming gift. Skip it if smoky scents are not for you.

Where to start. Start with Vanille Ash if you prefer something soft and sweet, then move to Resin for a cleaner incense note. Tabac Spice brings anise and clove for cooler evenings, and Teak Ash is the smokiest of the four. At roughly 14 hours each, the set gives you about 56 hours of burning in total, enough to give every scent a fair try over a few weeks.

Testing. Candles do not carry certificates, but the hemp and botanical products beside them in our shop do, and you can read them on our lab reports page.

Add the set to your cart, or browse our home essentials collection. Visit us at 619 E Broadway in South Boston, open daily 10am to 10pm, or reach our team.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable.
