Puff Palz The Tug & Toke Rubber Dog Toy (4 x 6 Inch)

By Puff Palz

The Tug & Toke by Puff Palz is a compact 4 x 6 inch, 10 oz natural rubber dog toy with massaging nubs and treat holders, the lightest of the three Puff Palz toys we carry.

If you like the idea of a rubber 420 dog toy but the larger Puff Palz pieces feel like too much for your dog, the Tug & Toke is the place to start. It has the same material, nubs and treat holders as its siblings in a shorter, lighter body, which makes it easier for smaller and younger dogs to pick up, carry and work over.

Format and contents.

  • Material: 100% non toxic, all natural rubber, per Puff Palz

How to use it. Tuck a few small treats into the holders to turn chew time into a puzzle, or toss it for a short game of fetch since its smaller size is easy to grab. Puff Palz says the nubs help clean teeth and tongue and massage gums while your dog chews; keep up regular brushing and vet dental checks either way.

Supervision and care. Size matters most with rubber toys. The Tug & Toke suits small to medium dogs, but a large dog could fit too much of it in its mouth, so big breeds should go up to the Beaker Buddy. Supervise chewing, check for cracks or missing pieces before each session, and replace it once it starts to break down. Wash it on the top rack of the dishwasher and dry it fully. Skip it for dogs with a rubber or latex sensitivity.

Who it is for. Owners of small and medium dogs who want a durable 420 joke toy that doubles as a treat puzzle. For a longer, pipe shaped option, see the Hippie Hammer.
